|Old Time Candy|
As adults whether we had a great childhood or not certain memories stick out in our minds. Sometimes those memories aren’t half bad. I remember growing up as a little girl in New York with my mom. She had quite a sweet tooth but she wouldn’t settle for just any kind of candy. Nope, my mom’s favorite candy was a sugar daddy. The caramel would always get caught in her teeth but she didn’t care. To this day I’m pretty sure she would double back for one if she saw them in the store.
It’s the small things that bridge the gap between parents and their children. My kids know the way to bribe me is with Blow Pops! Candy is the universal language that everyone understands.
At times it can be fun to revisit our childhood and indulge like we use to but it can be nearly impossible to find the candy we loved as kids. For any adult that wants to spoil their inner child check out Old Time Candy. They carry candies from the 1920’s to the 1990’s. What I think is really cool is you can get a “Decade Box” from either the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s or 80’s filled with 4lbs of candy from that decade. The holidays are fast approaching and it would make a great gift for a parent or grandparent.
With Old Time Candy we can bring home some of that nostalgia and share it with our kids.
