Family Day at Tampapalooza

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours wasn't bad at all. Saturday was a really relaxed day. Sunday we went to an event called Tampapalooza. Basically it was a chance for local vendors to promote their businesses.

I was kind of bummed out because we missed some pretty cool things they had on Saturday that they didn't have Sunday but the kids still had fun. There were four different bounce houses to play on.

Big brother J was too cool to bounce with the little kids so he played in the grass with Baby J.

There were awesome face painters there to make the boys look like their favorite super heroes. I saw a few girls running around with snow flakes on their faces to get their Frozen fix. Jr has never had his face painted by anyone but mommy so he really didn't know how to handle a stranger touching his face.

Most of the kids opted out of the face painting but decided to play with the Chinese yo-yos and other party favors that got handed out in the arts and crafts area. Baby J and I didn't have much to do. She's too small and I'm too big so we watched everyone else run and play while hubby tried to find shade. He's not a big picture person.

I think the kids enjoyed the Radio Disney booth the most. They got bags of fun stuff and the girls even played a game of "Who knows you best". I can't tell you who won, after I took this picture I started hunting down the people from Nutella (my new addiction).

All in all it was a nice afternoon. I took a lot more pictures but I don't want to overwhelm you. I don't have pics of my kids very much on my blog and social media but I really wanted to share some of our day with you.

Tampapalooza was a really good idea. I believe in buying local and supporting businesses in the town you live in. This was a great way to meet people in our community and know what companies are here. By going to this event we found some great restaurants. Needless to say the food was my favorite part. I hope they do this again next year.

How was your weekend?
