For my
daughter’s birthday I decorated her room for her while she was at school and
surprised her when she got home. One of the things I did was repaint her
dresser pink and black all over except on the top where I used chalkboard
paint. She absolutely loved it.
The dresser
now has several different uses other than just storing clothes. We play games
on it and leave notes for one another. Up until recently we were using chalk
sticks from the store. Over the past few weeks we’ve had the chance to try out
Liquid Chalkers. If you’re not familiar with them they’re wet erase marker
pens. They come in a pack of four which is great because you can put them in different parts of the house and not go looking for one.
I really
like that there isn’t any chalk dust with these like the traditional chalk.
Which also means less mess. The tip is shaped like an actual marker and the ink
flows out nicely making them easy to use.
The only
down side I found to the Liquid Chalkers is they stain if used on a
porous surface. A wet towel will get most of the chalk off but you can still see what was there before. After using the Liquid Chalkers over
the past few weeks I have had to repaint the top of the dresser. However,
they are easily removed from non-porous areas such as mirrors
and windows. So even without a chalkboard they are still fun and easy to use.
Overall
this is a good product and the kids and I have fun leaving each other notes around
the house. Liquid Chalkers are sold exclusively on Amazon from Paper and Twine.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Sounds like a great product.
