10 Things I am Thankful for

It’s easy to sit back and complain all of the time about the things that piss us off or just make us unhappy in general. Some times we need to really count our blessings. We don’t need to wait until Thanksgiving to give thanks. So today I’m linking up with The Sits Girls and bringing you 10 Things I am Thankful for.

I’m thankful for…

God: Without him nothing is possible.

My kids: When we picked up and moved across the country to a place where we didn’t know anyone outside of each other we became closer and learned to appreciate one another even more.

My husband: He is the most patient and supportive person I have ever met in my life.

My family: My mom is always there for me to vent. My aunt is there to listen and gives the best advice and my uncle has got a way to make all of his nieces feel special.

Being a SAHM: I get the chance to be home with my kids and watch my two youngest grow and witness their first everything. I didn’t get to do that with my older five. I worked a lot therefor I missed a lot.

My health: I think it is something we take for granted. Just to be healthy is such a blessing.

Fall: This is my favorite time of year. My birthday and the holidays are right around the corner and the weather is beautiful.

The Blogging community: I’ve “met” quite a few other bloggers that understand me and share the same experiences. They are a wonderful bunch of ladies that I can relate to and vent to without being judged.

My readers: Some days it’s not easy for me to sit down and write but when you take time out of your day to read what I have to say it truly does make me happy.

This moment: My house is quiet and just about everyone is asleep. So I’m thankful for having some quiet time to myself to actually be able to sit down and type this in peace.

What are you thankful for?

  1. I'm really close to my family, too, especially my mom. We've become best friends over the past few years and I love it. I don't know where I'd be without her. Great post!
