Teaching Others

What is something you know that you could teach another person if given the chance?

I feel that I have knowledge in several areas and I could teach someone how to do any number of things. The way I see it is even if you just teach someone the basics of a task they can practice and go on to learn even more than what you’ve taught them and eventually be able to come back and teach you things you didn’t know. Even thou I could teach someone any number of things I’d like to talk about something I like to help people with instead of teach.

I’m raising 7 kids of my own and over the years have helped many others with their children. I am not an expert at all in child rearing but I know enough to get you started and give you advice when they’re newborns, sick, won’t nurse etc.

Raising kids is hard. Unfortunately they don’t come with an instruction manual. I didn’t have the help that a lot of other moms had when I started having kids. I really resented that at first but it helped me learn and grow as a mom. I found out things on my own. Every day I’m still learning but if there was absolutely any one thing I feel confident enough to help someone with it would be raising kids. I’ve done it all alone with no friends or family and I’ve done it with help. So I know both sides of parenting.

In fact I love when people ask me questions about what to do or how to do something when it comes to babies and kids. I pride myself on being a mom. It’s what I know how to do. It can be hard at times and I still look to older people for advice which only enables me to help other people.
